It’s also a plectrum that, for example, helps electric guitarists transition more harmoniously and naturally when they switch to acoustic. It's no coincidence that the name Wish is a tribute to David Gilmour, a giant of electric guitar, whose iconic song Wish You Were Here is, however, played on acoustic.

This is not a plectrum for violent strumming or aggressive use: celluloid is a delicate material. For aggressive playing or use on electric guitars, the nylon or acetal versions are preferable.
